That's good that you are open with your child (girl/boy). I am very open with mine, they need guidance. @Former-Member Must have been awful being stalked, I hope that has stopped.

Well, guess what, I finally booked 3 nights away with my daughter over the holidays. I've been wanting to do that for ages and get anxious every time I look on internet. I pushed through the anxiety and booked and paid the deposit. Woo hoo! I don't feel up to going, but I am going anyway, stuff it, lol. It's a flash hotel, not even a year old and I got an apartment for half price, including parking and wifi. It's tricky when looking on internet for prices, because often they add approx $20 an night for parking.

Oh and I am going without hubby, lol. He often makes me feel guilty for wanting to go away without him, but this time I am not going to let him put the gulits on me. He seems ok about it, but I know deep down, he would want to come. I honestly think it's better for our marriage for me to go away occassionally. It's something that I have only done once without him. We haven't been getting on well for a very long time and I think "time out" from each other will be good for both of us. Mind you, we went away together after Christmas for a week. I really need some "me" time, really need it. Well, "me time" with my girl, lol.
