Stuck and can’t escape it.

Hey,

things are hard and I just can’t seem to escape it, I went to the emergency room last night hoping to get the help I needed from mental health clinicians but they basically sent me on my way, I had SH which was why I went and they still discharged me, I ended up calling them crying for help and they told me to go home and try my coping skills, barely even made it home without having a massive crying episode and having to take myself back for them to just tell me I’m fine and discharge me again.

I feel like I’m just a burden and mistake, it feels all to overwhelming, they are supposed to be there to support you not just send you on your way when your basically in crisis.

the nurse I got when I came back was really rude to me she was a mental health person and basically told me to go home and try my coping skills.[edited by moderator] I was upset and really not feeling great mentally.

im just stuck on what to do, I feel like I just can’t escape it…..

I’m a mess @Former-Member - things are everywhere, my MH is not doing great. Waiting to see the MH team

@Former-Member - pretty sure they will help, I can barely swallow again because of tonsillitis, they have sparked up again.

I thought too that having tonsillitis wouldn’t be nice while coping with MH either - painful conditions make it that much more challenging I find 💜🫂

I can easily see how you’d be feeling so awful @Fluttershy1 😞💜

I had my tonsils out 10 months ago, with some difficult times with them beforehand…I do very much understand what you’re having to cope with regarding tonsillitis. I am really hoping they help you both with infection and also helping you with MH stuff too ❤️‍🩹🙂🫂

@Former-Member — was just given liquid pain relief because I couldn’t swallow, now I’ve got ice chips. That’s soothing my throat pain

Hopefully the pain medication doesn’t take long to work , and those ice chips work their magic to numb the pain enough to make it bearable 🫂🌺

@Former-Member - waiting to been seen by doctors, for my throat then I’ll be discharged. If I don’t need iv antibiotics.
