Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

@Shaz51 am good here. Have just come back from doc for a biopsy of a possible bcc hopefully only superficial and then can have chemo cream dont want a huge chunk of me taken out lol. Will find out next Thursday. Better still hopefully is nothing at all :). Son2 is doing well. Just has hayfever which is making him have a runny nose an stuff but is in a good place atm. Have psychiatrist appointment for him next week so will mention some of the things his nasty voice has been saying to him.

Hi @Shaz51

I'm sorry you are feeling unwell - and glad you are spending the day in bed - that would be about the best thing you could do for youself

You have been out-or-sorts for a couple of weeks I think - hard to guess just reading day-by-day and then having a few days out myself - not brilliantly well either

I thought it was an over-reaction to my being so assertive but I think I have a touch of hayfever and asthma because of the Golden Wattle blooming outside my unit - I love the plant but yeah - I used my puffer and it made my breathing easier but my nose is still stuffy - I need to take an antihistamine

I feel for you Shaz - you have a lot on your plate with everyone - and now you have read something that relates to Mr Shaz's MI - I do hope this can help with understanding

Care for yourself first for a little while - then deal with the rest - thinking of you

Hi there @Shaz51 ... sorry to hear you've been in bed all day and not at all well. Dont delay too long in seeing a Dr if you dont improve soon. Thinking of you .....

@Bunniekins - I had a BCC removed from below my left eye last year. Needed 3 stitches. I think I have another one now which will likely need chopping out too. Just another thing I keep deferring due to more important matters cropping up. The one I had removed 12 months ago was one of the nastier ones too - an infiltrating BCC, which can spread. Hope your biopsy comes back clear.

Here's one for you both .... feel better soon.

That stomach bug is sticking around a while @Shaz51 Hope you're able to drink something with some nutrients, we used to always revert to lemonade when things wouldn't stay down or went straight through
