Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

It is hard making decisions, but extra difficult when so many health issues complicate things @Shaz51

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hearing you @Shaz51

With so many vulnerable with serious illness, its best to do what is right for each individual. You might actually gain more benefit from going alone, than worrying about your mother and Mr Shaz. It can be more authentic than them stressing or doing it out of obligation.

Take a few of us in your pocket for company of the wake gets hard. It really is about you and your uncle and sharing some of the grieving process with those present on the day. It can be surprising.

Focus on your grief process, remembering his life and why you care, not only other people.

Lots Hugz.
