My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

I have been to 2 uncles funerals. Extended family often brings up lots of feelings.

lots of SELF care for @Shaz51

If Mum is well enough the hospital might give her day leave for the funeral.

Hi @Shaz51

I heard that your uncle died - I am sorry about that - it is always a hard thing when older family members drop off the tree - I have had a lot of that since 2005 and understand how it can be really unhappy and difficut for the whole family - I wish you and your family the best for a hard time with such a large funeral

You do have a lot happening this week - how does that happen? Still - better to make it all happen in the one week than drag it all out - but yes - Gently Bentleigh - it will take a lot out of you

Mr Shaz needs those appointments and I know not likely to attend unless you are there to support him - and you have an appointment too - your health is not good and once again - as your second mum - I am suggesting you take things as easy as you can with all of this happening - it will be difficult

I know you Mum wants you do do things for her when she gets home but I have to say - she does need to accept help from agencies then you can spend time with her when she is ready to come home - it's too much for you to do some much for her and she wants to continue living at home and I understand this - but perhaps put it to here that if agency people come to do the chores then you can sit with her or take her out for a drive and coffee or whatever rather than do her work

I feel as if the only support I can give you is to keep telling you this - and it is hard - this I really understand - and yes - agency support is iffy but she certainly qualifies for it

You need to care for Poor Little Kidney - I get it - I do

Sending hugs

Dec

I care
