Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

This is a party we promised him last year @Shaz51 but darling was in hospital and he didn't want one until she came home. Didn't want people knowing she was away because 'it is none of their business'

Unfortunately her stay away was much longer than we expected so he missed out.

One of the mums of a friend coming who knows that darling is prone to stress has offered to stay and help with games as we r both clueless. We were going to let them entertain themselves until s2 asked last night what games were organised...

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

the lunch party was nice @Former-Member I met more of mr shaz` relations , had chinese for lunch

there were only a few issues like Mr shaz family members sat together not interacting with others

my SIL had to keep bringing up that we went to the wrong chinese restruant and i had to text her

and mr shaz family were ready to leave after 2 hours , but it was nice and I met his cousins who I am friends with on FB

so for church this morning we had our visitors , 2 SIL`s , uncle , aunty , MIL and MY mum came

Morning everyone

After my darlings amazing effort in holding it together yesterday while we had visitors this morning I have already had a text message and a phone call within 5 minutes of arriving at the uni to study

Resisting the urge to go home at the moment as I realy need to get this work done but it makes it hard to concentrate when I am struggling with that already.

It is well documented that alcohol + psych drugs do not mix but also high in carbs so perhaps weight loss could ensue if you teetotal @Shaz51

Sounds like Mr Shaz is in a bit of space where he is finding it hard to be positive about anything @Shaz51
