Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

You sound very patient & persevering @Shaz51

That would wear me down....

Things get done very slowly here, due to daily fatigue & dissociation

Occasionally I have burst of energy, try to do everything at once, then collapse in a heap...

I see my psychologist tomorrow, so that will help to be able to discuss some issues & things.

Yes I imagine it would @Shaz51

Try to get as much support (from wherever) as you can.

Although that is always easier said than done, unfortunately...

Thanks.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hi @Shaz51 I'm glad that you had a good sleep, I'm sure you needed it.

I'm really struggling today, basically badly dissociated & trying (again & again) to somehow ground myself.

Typing any words, or expressing anything is extremely difficult when like that.
