Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

as before mr shaz did things or jobs by himself and something would always happen, go wrong and then have to go and get it repared @Former-Member

but then he wanted me to be with him always which at first I had all these thoughts of untrust , controlling , but it is none of these

Good morning everyone ..... 👋

You are very practical at problem solving, and hard to ruffle @Shaz51 .... it sounds like your presence helps to stabilise his anxiety.

arrrr but not in my head @Faith-and-Hope , in my head , i am saying lots of things -- why!!!

I think doing child care helped me here as Mr shaz has told me he is amazed that I can just be calm and say ok , lets fix this
