Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

All quiet with my darling at the moment @Former-Member, she came to visit me at work today with a smile so that was nice.

I'm feeling flat and emotional, still coming to terms with something that happened with S1 at school early in the week but also not copeing with the uncertainty around my darlings moods.

Trying to keep calm and carry on @Determined @Shaz51, Mr D I think getting more anxious and I keep thinking of previous diagnoses tendered and how it all fits in.

Next appt Pdoc says she will discuss side effect which has crossed threshold and available alternative med options which I know are not thrilling in regard to the intimacy dept.

Not good Shaz, withdrawals & all. I went years going on & off antidepressants - so disruptive. Finally steady on this one the last 2yrs, think i've made a steady improve too. Finding the right pill for the individual seems apparent (i tried many). Been on the forums nearly 2yrs too, hmm. Maybe a combination of things. Just keep showing love, you have the biggest heart.
