My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

I hope Mr Shaz is not too anxious and you both have a relaxing day for his birthday @Shaz51
Mr D always says he doesn't want fuss but then proceeds to organise something if I haven't.

Mr.f&h has taken to organising something, then informing me, in recent years ..... one of the things that has made life more “interesting” .... 😏

@Shaz51 I find a similar thing. We will work so hard as a couple to get things going right and one lillte thing can turn it all upside down..I don't like to think it is deliberate but I am sure that there is a "security" issue and some self sabotage there maybe fear and lack of self worth so they feel that they don't deserve it. Our perception can become our reality so what we think can manifest in our lives.🤗

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hi @Former-Member
Have been flat all week. While hubby saw his psychiatrist and came home with a little bit of hope. And said he discussed grief and how we would be grieving of the when mess that was 2017. But that didn't last long.

Yourngest son's wife told him yesterday she "wants to be alone" at home in America. Whilst she told me before she left she hadn't told him so he has been planning on how to get to America permanently so she could be with her family. They have only been married 5 months. We suspected for her is was just for the visa but he really loves her so he is a mess twice in a month 😕 he is starting to get to the angry stage of grief which is good.

So I get up each day and take the day hou by hour and hope no-one says something that strikes to close to home.

How your week been?
Take care
