@Former-Member
My mum always reckoned you can't trust a bloke with a goatee or with a middle parting in their hair.

haha @Determined

my sister uses one of those...I must let her know not a good idea laugh

actually I thought of you today when I was at the library....I picked up a child's book

It's ok to feel the way you do otherwise you wouldn't be you!

author: written and illustrated by Josh Langley

published in Australia

I thought it might help your children understand mummy....mummy and daddy...mummy and them...daddy and them...themselves...their relationships....the whole family relationship...big feelings..

I have to confess I thought this will also help me....my inner child....I am never going to grow up

hope that you like it and the book is of some value...

of course you might even know about it already....

always thanking you for being here

Thanks @Former-Member, well worth checking out.

May even help me based on what my counsellor had to say this morning,
Will definitely be worth checking out for S2.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@Former-Member Yes Mr Darcy is aware of my mothers thoughts and he would not dare show up at her place with either a goatee or a middle parting, LOL, she is a tough old broad as one of my friends would say but she has a heart of gold. Early on she would try and tell him off for doing the dishes and he would give her a big hug and tell her to sit down and relax. I think this set the scene for her being extremely fond of him (the golden son in law). Although, I must say Mr D is extremely pleasant and kind and in our 33 years of marriage I could count on one hand the number of times he has been angry with me and even then it was comparitively mild.

Mr D initially had a side parting when younger as he had longer hair, he then had a middle part for a while (his personality trumped the middle parting so mum let him in the door) but for a long while his hair has been short and spiky so does not have a parting at all, he is clean shaven.

Mr Darcy slowly picking up post surgery, pain under good control, day 3 better than day 2 (so far), day 2 better than day 1. Hoping for continued improvement in anxiety levels, esp as pych med levels return to normal and pain dissipates. Have been concerned all this could trigger another major depressive episode; hopefully this has been averted, need to see him through danger period for infection as well as ensuring physio exercises are done to maximise return to physical health.
