Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Hello @Faith-and-Hope, @soul, @Determined, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Appleblossom, @PeppiPatty

second day of total rest , up and down through the night , finally got up at 9-30 am

Mr shaz slept until 11am

Now I found that we have Haemochromatosis in my family

Wonder if there is a connect between Haemochromatosis and kidney disease

Hi@Shaz51 ..... 🤗💕

I think it is good to have some understanding of our family health history .... it helps us to be vigilant about things that it is wise to be .....

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

I know haemochromatosis is often not problematic for women until menopause due to menses @Shaz51. Don't know about kidneys, seem to think liver might be affected -
another thing to keep an eye on eh? (Friend has it and post hysterectomy donates blood to control it).

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hi @Former-Member , yes my cousin did not know she had haemochromatosis until she was 50 and then we all got tested and me and my aunty and other cousin are carriers while the other cousins have it

why my mum and my aunty thinks it might be something to do with my kidney but the specialist thinks not

the GP took 2 lots of blood out of me , which made me feel better BUT the specialist said i can never do that again as i had no blood count after it and i was animia

yes with haemochromatosis it affects your organs , joints , arthritis , Liver and Heart

My iron blood tests are always inbetween 800 -- 1090 which it should be only 90

I am going to find out if there is any other reason why it is so high

@Shaz51
Have you looked into publishing the S. Dazzle medical compendium?
