Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

that is a good question @Former-Member

is mr shaz worried about Me ? ---- it looks like he is not worried about me , he does not show a lot of emotions but he could be worried about me in his head

The thing is too I keep going , soo when I lay on the lounge feeling unwell , then he thinks that I must be sick

I am still on AB`s , so hoping to feel better soon xx

Sending you tender hugs , and remember we are here for you , love from Shaz

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

oh @Shaz51 from what you have written and I have read over a period of time he is very concerned about you

I also understand how hard it is for him....I too have deep depression and anxiety or whatever the latest label is

one thing that I know @Shaz51 is that when we who have these symptoms I refused to be labelled

is that we do love and we mean it.......our behaviour might not demonstrate that but we do.....

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@Former-Member , on one hand mr shaz has opened up more and more over the years , which is wonderful to see

My 4 step children are very much like their dad mr shaz, (they have different levels of MI ) and I know they do love me in their own way

Today we were at a farwell party / Lunch for someone who is leaving , and mr shaz got involved in some of the party games , wow I think my heart had a big smile on it

and then once lunch was finished , he was ready to go home
