Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

@Shaz51
Hoping it was a nice bag and not a green bag to put everyone else's presents in .... did you manage to get lunch out?

PS @Shaz51 appreciate the offer to chat but to answer any of the concerns I have would be medical advice.

Hi @Former-Member and @Shaz51 and @Faith-and-Hope - hope your men folk aren't giving you too hard a time. What is your next self care activity?

I've made you some breakfast/brunch.

Thanks @soul..... 🤗💕

Heading down to the coffee shop for breakfast shortly .... if I can get out of bed .... lol .....

Its cold-ish (14deg) and set to rain all day ..... but I bought gumboots a couple of weeks ago for just such a day .... 😏

We haven't been here for winter for a few years, with all WH's wanting to go away each school holidays, but now we are staying here for S2's support network, and I am enjoying our rainy cold days. I like winter ..... I like all the seasonal changes .....

Taking a crossword to the coffee shop with me.

Thanks for the brunch @soul been at work today. Hope your day went ok. How is Miss Pooch?

@Shaz51 hope I did not offend with my cheekiness about the green bag, I take great delight in finding and giving appropriate and surprise gifts to others (could even place it as being a self care strategy for me).

I have had a nice day. Nice to have animals to keep me company. I let the budgie out of his cage as well and he flies around. Pooch hasnt eaten him .... yet.

Sounds lovely @soul

Our birds have not been out of their cage for so long they are now too scared to come out.

Actually he flies to the front screen door and hangs out there @Determined. Today a butcher bird met him on the other side - could have been tragic. He flew straight back to his cage.
