Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

Spoke too soon @Determined

Footy switched off, Mr Darcy has gone to bed, started crying again but I think has fallen asleep now. At times like this he does not want to be consoled.

Mr D did some physical work yesterday, is stiff and sore today, pain is at one of his attempt injury sites. He spilled some 50:1 yesterday and was upset about that too. I teed up for someone to help and Mr D did not want to be seen as less than so pitched in with gusto.

@soul

One of the few things Mr Darcy enjoys is watching AFL. Our team (swans) played last night and won. This evening he turned TV off at half time as he was tired, am hoping the pain relief will help him get a good night sleep.

I don't think I am alone in saying that seeing the one I love hurt so much is heart wrenching at times esp when hope is absent.

I am OK Soul - thanks for checking in - hope things are OK with you.

My week has been okay @Former-Member. Spent some time with my son today which always makes me happy.

Both @Former-Member. He has just booked a holiday to Japan with some mates and is looking forward to that.
