My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Hey @Blue-eyes-77
Come and meet a few of us who support our significant others through the ups and downs.
My husband aka Mr Darcy has a working diagnosis of BPii (atypical and complicated by a personality disorder NOS and anxiety)

Hi @Blue-eyes-77 ...... 😊 and welcome to the forums.

My hubby (WH) was only recently diagnosed with ocpd, but we have been struggling with his hidden, and as yet undiagnosed, eating disorder for 8 years now. In our state (WA) they don't listen to the family if there is no diagnosis in place.

It's been really hard = Understatement of the Year ......

You will find people here who hear you, even if the problem they are challenged with is very different. I think the pain of caring teaches you an empathy that goes above and beyond the norm.

@Shaz51

From the sounds if it you need more than a cuppa, you need a bit of TLC.

Sending big hugs your way.

thank you for the hugs @Former-Member

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

When I think about it @Shaz51 perhaps I should be checking on a virtual hangover after the big party.

What struck me Shazzle Dazzle was just how kind you are to many forum members who are struggling (as is @Faith-and-Hope).

Only one more day of work and we head interstate Thursday, think Mr Darcy might be feeling a touch nervous about catching up with everyone. He did some mowing today and is going to cook tea.

I hope Mr Shaz can relax this evening.

Darcy
