Today she was taken from home to palliative care.
This afternoon I went to hospital to see my friend and we have been friends since 89.
I just want to help her as much as I can and it makes me sad to see the changes in her and the progression of her illness.
I just hope and pray for a miracle for her and that she makes it through Christmas & new year.

You are quite right cancer is quite a subtle disease ( insidious ) . I am glad to hear your husband is still successfully battling it and I hope and pray that this remains the case for him.
I am home alone but I am okay.

Goodluck with sorting everything out in the morning and with your appointment in the afternoon. I have a really early appointment with Psych then a late one with GP. A lot of time in between to think/process etc. Would be worse if the appointments were the other way around - my GP has the knack of partially grounding me - for a little while anyway. Going to try and get some sleep tonight. Sending lots of hugs your way. Nite nite
