I can't do anything right I can't do it @RiverSeal I just can't handle this I might visit my dad and lay next to him later on tho I can't even dragged my own ass out of my room I haven't left it I have his picture here but it's not them I will never hug him again I wish I could of said goodbye to him i wish I could of taken his pain and anything he was dealing with it's my fault because I pushed him away because I got too busy with work and then next minute he isn't here 😭 I am hating myself today I am avoiding everyone because I feel like it's my fault if I had just listened and didn't be so selfish and yes I still see him stranding closer to me I still feel him @RiverSeal sorry it's Soo long

When a person takes their own life it's not someone else's fault and is a complex situation. You are questioning your actions about the life choices you made and commitments you had, as we all do with work. You don't need to feel guilty for something that you may never truly understand as you can't ask questions and get an answer. When you are ready you can work on sharing that with a psychologist or a counsellor and work through your grief.

@RiverSeal I know but he did ask for my help because he did say he would do it if I didn't come over I thought he just said it because he was pissed off at me I didn't hear back back from him I think it was like day 2 when I went over there he was gone I was so shock I can tell you all of last year I wasn't the same I never thought I would see that from a person I love I know I shouldn't blame myself for his death but I feel like if I had just went over or called he might still be here

My eyes are so red from crying I am beating myself up over it 💔

The situation you described is tough to deal with @Sunnyside226 and I still believe that no fault lies with you. No matter who people are in our lives they can't give us ultimatums with such dire consequences without there being other complex personal reasons for them feeling the way they do. If you turn what they said around they were very lonely and not able to manage their thoughts and feelings on their own. There are many options available to seek support from a professional rather than someone who is not equipped with the skills and knowledge to support someone who is contemplating suicide.

I encourage you to call Griefline and speak with them as they can support you more than I can with what you are going through today. What do you think if we make a plan to call them soon?
