Support for Flowerlove22

Hey @Sunnyside226 ,

I hope you don't mind me making this thread for you.

I just wanted you to know that the whole forums community is here to support you through this challenging time.

Please look after yourself. I recognise it's hard to look after three small children on your own.

I grew up in the desert, so fishing isn't in my blood, but I do like to eat them @Sunnyside226!!

I like to go to the parks these days and don't drive anymore so don't travel far from public transport. I love the city and going to regional cities or interstate sometimes. Times have changed!

Re: Support for Flowerlove22

Yeah, I haven't owned a car since the late 90's showing my age @Sunnyside226 hehe. I drove my last car to a car yard and walked out with a cheque and a bag with the glove box contents! I live inner city and use trams, trains and sometimes buses and a few Ubers these days too. I love the lifestyle and financial freedom due to the reduced expenses. Couldn't do it if I didn't live in the city though.

I have been busy with TAFE lately and assignments and going to class. I enjoy it though, and would love to study forever!!

Re: Support for Flowerlove22

I know right, years and years ago @Sunnyside226 hehe

I grew up somewhere where if you didn't drive you couldn't get around and I drove very long distances on my own a lot. When I left home at 19 years old, I drove over 2000 km to my new life interstate. I drove all over most of Australia and didn't earn much and poured a lot of money into cars just to get around. I had owned 4 cars by the time I was 21 years old and started driving at 16 years old. I saw a life without needing a car in the city and it warmed to me very quickly and I have never looked back!

I'm studying my 5th qualification at TAFE and the main qualification for my role as a Peer Support Work the Cert IV in Mental Health Peer Work.

What else have you been up too, we haven't chatted in a while?
