If I’m doing a job around the house I don’t ask for help @Zoe7 I was up on a step ladder putting up roller blinds on my own a day after eye surgery 🤣 I don’t stop if you havent already worked that out

I have worked that out @ArraDreaming 👍🤣 We are peas in a pod hey! It has been so hard with my back not to be able to do things. The last two days I have certainly pushed the limits though. The great thing today is I have not had to have any pain meds afterwards - tomorrow I may be quite sore though.
I can imagine you - up a ladder, one eye and trying to get the blind up ...that is something I would do too lol

Tomorrow meeting with a local guy who can offer me some adhoc cash work in his landscaping business so fingers crossed he likes me

I am tired and a bit drained but pain has gone. I should be back to okay tomorrow - just need a good night's sleep @ArraDreaming
Just be yourself tomorrow buddy - you are an amazing person and really good at the work you do so let those traits shine through. Who knows, this might even lead to something bigger ...but if it doesn't then the cash right now will help.
I will say goodnight buddy but please let me know tomorrow how it goes ❤️

so I met with this bloke this morning and he ran me through what jobs he is working on at the moment and he said he needs a hand for a bit, gave me a shirt asked me to start Thursday
I didn’t mention that I wont have a car that can tow after mid Feb cause i don’t know if he will need me for that long and I’ll just work that out later but yeah, just a little bit of work for now is a start
I was fully expecting him to meet with me and then decide later but i don’t know I think he had plans for me before we even caught up
