Something funny for you (not so much funny but annoying for me) but you may laugh - the smaller ledge I put up for Clover broke off a few days ago - ALL the screws snapped clean in half. Now before you say anything - they were ones I got at a cheap shop sometime ago but I only used on the smaller ledge because I had ran out. The ledge is now securely nailed with extra thick, extra long, stainless steel snails from Hammerbarn and is nbot moving anytime soon (I sat on it and it didn't budge so that is a pretty good indication it will last LOL).

...and I have finished my paving and concreted the edges in. I will run some fine cement and sand over tomorrow to fill any gaps then give it all a good wash.

A couple of days ago I was trying to install our new washing machine myself, easy easy job takes 5 mins max.
Anyway, connection to the tap on the wall I somehow got the ends mixed up and connected wrong end, easy mistake, except it’s near impossible to screw off because of the way it attaches (both ends are not the same, lesson learnt)
Luckily, the same attachment was still here from our old one so I cut the tube off to make it easier to remove the actual like adapter? I guess? then just had to unscrew it/reinstall the old one the correct way.
Well… for about 4 hours I was completely enraged about my life and this was trigger for it. I spent hours with all different tools from the garage trying to twist this stupid thing and I just about gave up. I was so angry. I have sores and cuts on my hands from it.
I thought you know what I give up. I’ll just attach it to the hot tap for now and call it a day, will tackle it tomorrow but at least it’s all attached.
Screwed it on to the hot tap.
Turns out the entire time I was angry I was trying to turn it the wrong way. I was actually putting full force into screwing it on even tighter not looser. And when I tell you I was angry during it I was ANGRY I even had to leave the house. Then when I figured this out I just stood there and stared at it for about 40 seconds and I was like “huh… that makes more sense”
I laugh now

Hahaha @ArraDreaming That did make me laugh 🤣 I could actually imagine you and I doing things together and getting just as frustrated lol I have done that before - wondered why with all my might I could not undo something and then realising it should be going the other way LOL That is usually when I am tired or like you have done something the wrong way in the first place. Easy to do - especially when we are not on the ball at the time.

You sound like my Dad - he wouldn't accept help from anyone (except me sometimes) for a long, long time. Now he is much older and cannot do a lot he has to have help @ArraDreaming
