Does he have any specialised support for his BPD? I know for me, mentalisation based therapy from a BPD specialist service made a world of difference for me. @Neets
Targeted BPD support and really turn someone's life around. Otherwise it may take a lot longer for recovery.
Please tag me, and even if I don't respond tonight, I'll get to it. you tag by typing '@' in front of my username e.g. @tyme
Hope to hear from you soon!

@tyme thanks for advise. I just wish he would take it. He has seen so psychs and therapists now he has no faith anymore. He just just sent me a text 'mummy' to pull at the heart strings but I didn't respond. I will try and sleep now and ignore the phone. Good night

Stick to it @Neets Perhaps put the phone away. You need to protect yourself.
Through my BPD journey, I knew how to 'test' people. If someone set a boundary, I would 'test' it out by pushing the boundary a little. I'm ashamed of it now, but back then, I believe it was a way for me to make sure that someone really cared about me. I'm so glad that I had really strong people around me so that a yes was a yes and a no was a no.
With treatment, I saw many many psychs and had lots of therapy sessions. However, I recognised i needed the specialised treatment for BPD at a time when I was ready. Early on, I said I was ready, but really, looking back, I wasn't ready to make changes at all. BPD treatment is very very very hard. It was filled with tears and challenges. But that's what did the work.
All the best. Speak tomorrow. Good night.

@tyme thank you for your kind thoughts and yes the no's are the hardest and I am going to try to stick to it. My son wants me to go to him to sooth him but I know he has to do this on his own. I hope, like you he gets the right help and can see that not everyone is against him, he views the world so differently and I can't reason with him and have been advised not to make suggestions but just listen. Was there anything that you did differently that made you go the next step?

Hey @ArraDreaming I am okay. Guess what ....Clover finally jumped up onto her shelf outside 🐱 I am thinking of making a few more and placing at different spots so she has a choice ...but not right now as the tennis is on so I will be glued to the tv for the next couple of weeks lol That is probably a good thing as I am pretty sore today after I dug out some of the front yard yesterday to pave. It was only a small section (about 2 x 1 metre) but more than I have been able to do for months and I am feeling it today. I was going to lay the pavers today but too sore.
How are you going buddy?
