Haha it would be a strange day @ArraDreaming - but to be honest, I could imagine myself fostering kids. I think the idea of being pregnant just grosses me out, and looking after babies seems too full on. But providing care, stability, and love to kids who need a home? Could do, could do. But probs not till I'm in my 40's haha I barely feel like I'm in my 30's. I feel more like 17 than 31. And 32 tomorrow! Years keep slipping by hey.

@Jynx fostering is hard gig though you brining in someone in your home that has seen the worse ppl.

Aye for sure @Daddymac and it's not a gig I would consider lightly. I'd wanna ensure I got a stable home, income, and probably some further study under my belt first. But I think that's part of the appeal for me - being able to show these kids that there is some safety to be found in the world.

@Jynx I wish the world would have more ppl like you willing to make sacrifice to give some else a better chance. All these kids want is a stable loving environment with routines

And teach em things you know @Jynx there’s so many things when you grow into adult hood you don’t know how to do cause it wasn’t model for you at home, I know that when I moved into share houses i bumped up against people because I didn’t know how to like do basic living tasks so it’s not just not knowing it’s all the other things that go with it, like socially I was outcasted and didn’t know why but in hindsight it was because I had no idea how to clean a bathroom, mop a floor, clean up after myself, cook much more than noodles and potato gems, and there is still things now as a 28 year old things pop up and I go, I have no idea how to do that?
