MERRY EXPLETIVE CHRISTMAS!

Merry expletive Christmas, everyone.

Christmas is a social holiday, not just a religious holiday. For that reason, whenever someone asks me whether I celebrate Christmas, I say “it’s complicated.”

Christmas, religious or otherwise, is a public holiday, an opportunity to be with family and be with yourself.

And watch the NFL. Saints player Alvin Kamara scored six touchdowns one Christmas, wearing one green boot and one red boot. The inner child in me found the boots really cute. He got fined for a uniform violation, but who cares?

I’m going to be drinking a Christmas-themed tea all night and keeping air traffic controllers the world over in my prayers, they’re the ones that have to clear a lane for Santa.

My thoughts and prayers also go out to everyone struggling during Christmas. May you get through these next few days safely and comfortably, and have merry Christmases to come.
