Why do you need to get wet stuff from the garage? Is the rain getting in? @ArraDreaming

Oh shit @ArraDreaming It never rains but it pours hey (pun absolutely intended!)

I have a neighbour who has just recently started playing drums as well - it is often around 7pm - the noise does get to me sometimes but they are pretty good so I really do not mind (most days). Not good when your stress levels are already high though jay. I hope you can get the things in your garage sorted. I los a lot a few years ago when my garage flooded - have a new roof on now though so at least that has cut out one of the causes.

Sending some 🌞 your way.

Argh.... on no @ArraDreaming .

I'm not sure if you know those cheapo plastic red, black white bags? I put clothes I don't wear in them, and put the in the garage, thinking they were waterproof.

A number of years down the track, mould has grown all over the clothes because of the wetness of the garage. I ended up throwing the whole bag of clothes away.

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

this is coming through a side door @Zoe7
can’t patch it up with silicone until it’s dry though which won’t happen as we are expecting rain for the next 4 days
We rent but our landlords are travelling and this is pretty urgent we almost have to just fix it ourselves and tell them

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

Yeah it might need to be done quickly @ArraDreaming You can get a waterproof sealant at Bunnings that you can use in water - I used it for my fish tank. I cannot remember the exact name but it is specifically for wet areas.

We siliconed parts of our roof to stop the raining coming in. But it was only a temporary fix and was told it'd only last a few months. We have since pulled up the roof and are in the process of getting a new roof. We still have colourbond waiting to be put up. Once that's done, we need to get the solar panels back up. $40 grand!..... not easy. @Zoe7 @ArraDreaming
