Busy, busy, busy

Busy, busy, busy

This time of year, is always busy ... and I know that for me it is always the same. There are pre-Christmas deadlines at work that cause a mad rush thanks to customers wanting their stuff before Christmas.

Add to this the ever-prevalent Christmas cheer which starts to creep in slowly around mid-November and kicks into gear fully after the start of December. I for one get a little tired of the "carols" by the time Christmas actually rolls around. Probably because of the fact that work has them non-stop until after Christmas. Sure it is a joyous time, a time for friends and family... but it can also be a tough time.

I know that I have been taking some time for myself, a little more gym time and extra meditation is important.

Absolutely!

@Arbie_wun

Christmas is actually a very difficult and challenging time for many. I know first hand what it is like spending Christmas and new year in an inpatient unit purely because I felt so unsafe outside.

I want to acknowledge that not every one experiences the 'Christmas Cheer' and want to make space for that if members want to chat about it.

I'm glad you are making steps to care for yourself @Arbie_wun

Your self-care is encouraging @Arbie_wun

Christmas is a mad rush and a lengthy occasion at the same time. Be kind to yourself and keep safe 💚
