Thats really good @Taali a good nights sleep can make all the difference. Its surprising how one night of decent rest can make you feel incredible the next day. My GP is pissed off with people wanting freebies like taxi vouchers and bulk billing. She saw my clothes and didnt understand I bought them from Salvosstores online opshop. I only buy when they are on special as I cant afford Salvos regular prices. My biological sisters adoptive family were fashion designers they used to own a knitwear label in a South Melbourne factory. The Jewish ragtrade used to be big in the 70's and 80's until the trariffs were removed and they all went bankrupt. Still living in Toorak due to a good accountant though last time I spoke to her family. So maybe thats where the Smiling Gecko school of deportment comes from? I told her last time I saw her Kmart is too expensive and forgot to tell her that they used to do slavery. But I will give her some links to Salvos and Vinnies online shops as every doctor needs to feel her best with a quality garnment for a good price!

Am doing well enough thanks. Just saw my psychiatrist for the first time in a couple of months - she was visiting family in the US. Anyway, that was fine.

Me too @StuF I dont own a car and live in a semi regional district just outside the suburbs. Not exactly gone bush but its still hard getting places especially if you have silly kidneys like mine that require an app to map out toilets across Melbourne! lol I hope my taxi vouchers will get granted because I'm tired of shelling out money for taxis I cant afford. The rest of the time I do short trips locally via bus but my world is quite small because I hardly leave the house. I've been listening to a kidney audio and my kidneys are a lot better have improved the urinary frequency levels so will keep going but have to have more tests from GP

@Taali Theyres lots of people trying to extract things from the government when they shouldnt. I'm glad shes like that but it does make it hard for others like myself. She would be the middle class working poor herself. She has a family to raise, house to pay off and expenses to keep a car on the road. Middle classes in many instances do it tough these days even more so with cost of living pressures. I'm glad she is a gatekeeper to services that should not be abused. I did speak to a taxi driver who told me the directorate has access to your banking when you apply to see how poor you actually are. He said people in the wealthier parts of Melbourne were abusing the system taxis roll up to their mansions and they produce a taxi voucher so now they have a system to scan your bank account to see how deserving you actually are. But yeah I should have got a taxi voucher years ago with other health issues but the directorate wouldnt recognise them

I'm all for stopping people from abusing the system, but the idea of ANYONE accessing my bank details appals me !!
