My dearest @Appleblossom
I honestly can't imagine what you've experienced.
I truly don't have the words to adequately express how deeply I feel about the awful and tragic consequences of this situation.
I know it sounds somewhat shallow but I'm so sorry for you!!

Thank you @Taali Yes, I am triggered. How could I not be? There is nothing normal about my circs. However, in nearly 50 years of therapy, I have not gotten to state that little sentence about being physically yanked off my mother. So maybe there will be something healing about telling my truths. The welfare had gathered my 2 younger sibs first, then took me off mother, and brought her to the psyche ward, and us to the local Catholic homes. Mostly, people are too overwhelmed to even have basic conversations about what happened, as well, as when we returned to mother, the incredible shame of it all, had her shushing us if ever it was mentioned, even if I was enthusiastic about getting back a sibling. So I am going to say thank you.
I am playing fast and furious music on the pino to regulate and will calm down by playing the Waldstein. Its what I have to do. For me music is participatory not just listening. Mther gave me piano lessons under a tree in the 3rd orphanage. Yes, with mh challenges there are strengths, and I tried to make the most of it. My daughter is UBER successful ... director of a very fancy board that makes big decisions about money and policy. She cant face some truths about her relationship with her little brother, but she was robbed of her mother in the weird way, that her older 1/2 sister by 16 months, dominated almost every moment of her childhood, from infancy to teens, with only a few hours respite, as the other biological mother only had irregualr supervised access. Yeah I know about Protective Services from a few angles too. Including knowing a few current ex workers, who are exhausted by the field.
I am proud my daughter became studious and hardworking like me.
I will edit some of this later, as it could be identifying.

Good Afternoon @StuF just made a pumpkin bake for lunch and tossing out garbage and recyclables. My kitchen looks a lot better now. Got more garbage to put out and will have my kitchen back. Saving money on produce with Fresh and Crisp bags which are made of some kind of volcanic ash that stops the fruit and veg from spoiling. My produce lasts longer which is good and no kitchen waste. I think I save quite a bit. Thats all on the Gecko newsfront. I hope you had a good day at work today! 👍
