@TAB lol, it's ongoing isn't it?! I remember my ex would mow his lawns without fail every few weeks. But then he was quite a*al retentive about his gardens.
Just no smoking the lawn clippings okay?! 😆 (don't laugh, my bestie and I tried it when we were kids. We rolled this massive d**by and lit it up. Yeah, I do not recommend!!)

I complain about living in Perth but I don't think I could live in any other city now. I do prefer country life though. I've been lucky to travel a lot more than many people and have seen a lot of Australia but there is still more I want to see.
Someone once told me that we never appreciate our own backyards and it's so true. We long to visit far off places but then we fail to see the beauty in our own country, states and cities/towns.

That's so true @ENKELI
I too have travelled quite a lot but I maintain that my favourite place is Kangaroo Island.
Just a short boat trip and an even shorter flight from here.
It's in Ngarrindjeri Country and all Kaurna people are traditionally welcome there.

I recall walking into one pub in Kal, all of 18 years old and came face to face with my first skimpy. I don't think I blushed redder ever!!
Or is it the 2 Up you miss! Despite living there for 3 years and going back for visits several times I never went out to the 2 Up. Maybe I should put it on my bucket list. I'm sure it's changed since I was last there 30 years ago!!
