I kind of have a sense of obligation.

I have time now that I'm not working, due to mental health issues exacerbated by the toxic work environment.

I was definitely mistreated by the leadership of what espoused itself to be a Christian organisation!

So as I have time and can now pick up the slack I feel I should.

Yeah, it's a real downer and messes with my MH. But I will do it.

I'll be coming home for my couch to be delivered so I kind of have a little reward ☺️

Hello and good morning @Taali Sorry to hear you endured another restless night. My sleep has been off the past few years with other health issues making me sleepless. I was not using my Trivortex disc it was 20 years old so needed a new Trivortex disc to wear. It arrived in the post yesterday. Last night got the best nights sleep in over 3 years. Dont know if it was due to activating ida/pingala/sushumna on Spirtuality Zone's you tube channel which stops night time panic/anxiety/insomnia but woke up this morning feeling wonderful for a change. Best nights sleep in 3 years I say. Impossible

@Taali sorry what happened to you with your work culture. My ex brother in law lost his fingers in a guillotine accident at a Christian organisation. It was mishandled and the 7th Day Adventists treated him badly while he endured the shock of such a horrible incident. My father in law was a parish minister and I think he was horrified too. It wasnt very nice what went on. As an onlooker I can say I was heavily disappointed and would have expected more from these people. My brother in law was struggling with trauma and loss of confidence after the accident. He even bought a hulk of a car afterwards as he felt safer driving in a big vehicle. The incident really damaged his sense of personal safety. So yes I do understand these work cultures and having been an ex-Salvation Army adherent I can say I had to leave. In the end I decided it was just people to blame and wherever you have people you have problems. I dont miss the church at all. I notice people I knew on facebook still stuck in there. Theres so much life outside of the Salvation Army. I think you feel the same

it is hard to be mi and rejected by all. i know i'm loved. but get only from afar. those dearest to me do not love me no more. i find it hard to know why to go on for now they are gone.
