Lol @TAB yes you are spot on. It's a Greek word commonly used as a compliment. I'm really bad at choosing names , nicknames etc

I have had 3 of my closest friends pass away in my recent past, I still cry for me best friend Denise, she had a heart attack from stress, & being over weight, due to her medication, that she needed. I still grieve for all 3, plus Dad passed away with me holding his hand in the Hospital Bed. Then Mum had cancer all though her body, I never even knew until I was called to go quickly to see her before she passed. It took me a few years to accept her passing, & I miss her so much every day. All 5 passed way with a few years of each other. I understand what you are feeling & your loss, maybe we can support each other though the bad times, even tho we can not bring them back. I get Depression & Anxiety from all the, pain, abuse, & loneliness, with no close friend to love & cherish, & have fun with!!

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your 3 beautiful friends and your beloved parents. Wish I was there to give you a big hug. All of them would be so proud of the lovely you have become. It is by far the most difficult thing I have had to face and overcome. I'm the complete opposite of your ex by the sounds of it @Former-Member. I have a shy side which makes it difficult for me to meet people. I also rarely drink. I might drink one glass of wine in an entire year.

I think the translation is handsome. It's also used in other ways to compliment people. It's definitely not bad. We have reduced it to leve now as it sounds less feminine @TAB.

I do not drink Alcohol at all, tho if I were to go to a Wedding, or an occasion, where people made Toast, I would have some Champagne.
Ok, well I think our chat & what we have shared has been positive, & rewarding concidering that I thought that you were my new Lady Friend, & now you are my new Man Friend. I thought I could not talk about the abuse to any man, yet I have told you some of it, & I feel ok with that!![]()
