I suffered for many years due to my then boyfriend, being a heavy Drinker, & he was promiscuous, & I never knew at first, because I was brought up to be a Lady, & to respect my body. He would call me filthy dirty names, & punched me in my face repeatedly, until my nose was broken, & I never tried to fight back, as I was too frightened to. Anyway, maybe I better not talk too much about some of the abuse because I am getting too upset at the moment. I haven't even told my friends in SF that, I don't think? I have mentioned some other abuse, that made me traumatised, & gave me bad self image, at that time, but not that one.

How about you Leve, how did you become unwell, if ou can share a little, please?

I'm just in complete shock after reading how poorly you were treated @Former-Member. No one has the right to do that to another person. It's the act of a coward. You are way too good for someone like that and I'm sure you know that yourself now. Please don't discuss it if upsets you as it's the last thing I want. I have had depression for about ten years now. For most of this time it has been quite manageable with medication. Several months ago a friend of mine passed away and this really exacerbated my depression and left me feeling lonely and vulnerable. I still struggle with the loss .
