Yes, @StuF It was a good day. I was hacking a lot as my flu is going through its cycle, but not bad enough to worry about cancelling. The walk and talk was with a new NDIS support worker. I showed her a gorgeous park behind our place, with lots of trees and birds and my old geurilla garden, that I was doing way back when I joined the forum (before NDIS). We also did a bit of housework together. then she went. I have needed NDIS to survive. Never expected to be on it, or get it.

I also did a shop at supermarket and carried heavy bags home... enough to start puffing badly... probably just pushed myself with the cold... lol... all good... had not spoiled myself for a cold as much as his one. Its almost done.

Sounds great with your NDIS support worker...the scheme doing what it is meant to do it seems. I don't know much about it, really mostly just all the negative press and horror stories of it not working as intended, which I know is of course a small part of the story. Anyway, may it continue for you :)

@Appleblossom yes it's draining financially, physically and emotionally to live with MH issues.

I hear what you're saying about survival being a goal.

It's just so un fair that some of us have to live with it!!!

My way of dealing with hangovers was to just drink more.

It's a completely f'd life.

All I do is just stay afloat and not disappoint people, but who cares anyway. So what the F

Yes , it's early days for me re training. @Appleblossom staff and students seem accepting. My trade career path a lot lower than most instructors seems. Some guy said was in charge of 350 people most worked on naval stuff. Me just run ni g around quitting jobs but knowing some things they talked about, like draglines got mentioned yest from construction side I threw in a few terms from working in the field. Guess it's broad not general experience . Then another one of long defunct heavy engineering place that connects a lot of them mentioned another piece of major plant. I sort of knew of it , well had been to that site few times. 'Oh you've been there have you?'.. yes bit of imposter syndrome going on. I'll work it out.

@Appleblossom are you interested in mindfulness? I usually avoid the term due to my very negative experience in the psychiatric hospital.
