Re: Tabaluga's

Well, I've enjoyed researching Consciousness these past few years as well, @SmilingGecko. I've started to write a paper, just for the sake of keeping my brain active. I've done 2 pages, but it is like trying to swim through treacle. There are things you can't say without proof, things only some understand, personal things that can't be included, etc. I don't think I will finish it as there is nowhere to send it and it's very taxing. It's a fascinating subject though. I did a pottery course many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I must have dabbled in everything at some time, but I mostly enjoy mental stimulation. I'm looking forward to seasonal blooming, and it is just around the corner. Warmer weather will be nice.

Totally agree @Historylover I'm just focussing a bit more on stimulating my brain for creativity lately. If my sacral chakra is balanced and cleansed my creativity flourishes. My communication is improved if my throat chakra is also attended to. Writing can take it out of you.

Re: Tabaluga's

Hi everyone,

Just a gentle reminder that what works for one person may not work for another, and we ask that members continue to avoid giving prescriptive advice and to frame suggestions around their own personal experiences.

Spiritual practices can absolutely be shared as personal beliefs or experiences, rather than as treatments or explanations of health or mental health conditions.

Thanks for keeping the conversation supportive.

Kindly,

~ @Honeymoon

i reckon that the focus on healing can be a distraction from the truth rather than bring healing. Sickness, more often than not, is the part of life that must be navigated for healing to come about. To short circuit the cycle can have disastrous results. For example over use of antibiotics can cause the very virus we try to get rid of to become even more dangerous and hard to get rid of. Our futile attempts to overcome the flu virus through vaccinations is a clear example of its resistance to our attempts. Often making the host even more vulnerable long term, a suppressed immune system, rather than have them suffer from the flu they try to prevent.

We learned that lesson the hard way with our youngest. He suffered from chronic bronchial asthma. For the first two years of his life he was on constant antibiotics, but he suffered one cold after another, we were not getting ANYWHERE.

*

This made me to search for alternative options and i found that taking him off the antibiotics help him through fight the colds as well as strengthen his lung with herbs instead of steroids healed him completely by the time he was 7. It has worked SO well he has no more asthma or lung infections even when he gets a cold, that is he does healthy as a fish. And you know what? The herbs i grew looked lovely in our garden as well.

(P.s finely cut up, or minced garlic, with wild honey in freshly grated Ginger tea, make up an awesome, and very tasty, solution that out performance any pricey chemist fix.)

Some common Herbs for healing.
