Good Morning @Taali doing more housework today. Had a good nights sleep, got to get the day going I guess. Just paid off credit card after being paid my DSP, got a few hundred in savings but will have to pay rodent exterminator. I'm seeing working poor on you tube trying to pay off masters degrees and are down to their last cent, unable to afford food. Some single mum with 7 kids and welfare supporting them seems to have it better off. Its getting worse out there. Theres a man I follow who comments on social culture and I see this on his youtube channel every day

@Taali yes I must be flushed with cash on a Disability Support Pension! I never seem to get ahead. This house can be a huge expense at times. The moon is in Bhukti for me in vedic astrology until September of 2027. I have had so many expenses since May which is what a moon in Bhukti indicates. It listed other probabilities but I seem saddled with expenses. Good old Centrelink - meeting the need again lol

@Taali I just focus on health and wellbeing and the occasional treat. Sociologists have said Centrelink is akin to financial abuse which it kind of is in a way. Having to look at more ways to cut corners. I used to be part of a budgeting social group on facebook. It was amazing what people did to get by. Saw one lady following the supermarket staff with priced to clear labels and taking everything that was marked down the worker was labelling. She used to ask them when they were next due to do this again and then turn up to take the stuff she could use. She also used to ask the grocer to save everything at the end of the week for her that was almost past its useby date ready to be tossed. She would then dehydrate the fruit and veg for storage. Another thing she used to do would be going to a chicken processing plant to get damaged chickens that were marked down. The facebook group was quite amazing. I'm no longer with social media but have fond memories of those people and the ways in which they boldly got by

@Taali just got gas and electricity bills issued. Am in credit so dont have to pay anything. May go and cook lunch. Hope your visit to your niece goes ok today. I can understand how you feel about this. I know you are concerned about her. She will enjoy a visit from you!
