Oscillation between two mind sets

No clipping of Clover but she needs brushing as although she has short hair, she has a very thick coat @creative_writer The last two days I have been covered in either Toby hair or Clover hair lol I finally finished both last night and vacuumed - and you could imagine how full the vaccuum cleaner was 🤣 Toby needs a bath too but I might wait a few days.

Going to have a quiet day today. I might do some papier mache - I am making a large bunny for one of my kids. She is away until next week and doesn't know I am doing it so it will be a nice surprise for her. I am friends with her Mum (who is also a teacher) - another one of the lovely things that have come out of my class over the last 2 years. I did know her Mum before I had her in our class but we have developed a friendship over that time also.

My sister has a long hair cat and he is absolutely gorgeous. I was planning on getting the same but then Clover landed in my inbox and I fell in love - so glad I have her as she is so cheeky and cuddly at the same time. She bought a bird in today - has not done that since the first week I had her. The bird was unharmed and I managed to get it out of the house safely. The first two things she bought in were a big black bird the size of her and a rat who was bigger - both did not survive (thank goodness as I would have been beside myself, especially with the rat). She has not brought anything else in since she was a kitten until today @creative_writer

My sister brushes her boy but does not need to trim him - and he is one giant fluffball.

Clover was 11 weeks @creative_writer I was supposed to get her a couple of weeks later but the breeder was going to a show with some of her other cats and it was much closer for me to pick her up there so I got her earlier. She was so tiny. There were 3 of her brothers there also and she was hald their size. She is still quite little - so much smaller than my previous 2 cats but she makes up for her with attitude lol. Both my other 2 cats were very much mine and mine only. The first one would hide whenever I had anyone else in the house, my second one just did her own thing but was very cautious around people. Clover has become a bit like that too but it is because there are never many people around ...just me and Tobes. She did let my Mum cuddle her yesterday - which was suprising but I got her out of her basket so she was still half aslepp lol

Toby was 10 weeks. I went to the pet shop to get a new fish tank as ours in the class I kept plugging leaks - so thought it was time to get a new one ...came home with a puppy and no fish tank 🤣

Clover loves boxes - even when I have things in them lol

Poor Tobes was really upset with the fireworks last night - took a lot of cuddling and patting to get him to settle. They were very loud - much more so than usual. It was a really still, clear night so that might be the reason the sound travelled as it did.

Clover loves to lay on her back on the floor when she wants snuggles - and either myself or Toby goes to her. They are both so funny together - especially when they chase each other around the back yard lol

Toby is okay today @creative_writer I am about to head to bed and have snuggle time with him and Clover. I really wanted to watch the tennis this evening but I am too tired. Will catch you tomorrow ❤️
