mental health

I struggled to see myself as a gorgeous, pretty, skinny, hot girl but instead see myself as a ugly, fat girl.

Hi there @livdog2009

Welcome to the forums, I can see you are new here!

I hope you find support, enlightenment and companionship on these forums.

To me, it sounds like you are being a bit too hard on yourself don't you think?

Much love

Re: mental health

Hi @livdog2009 Welcome to the forums and thank you for sharing this with us. Sorry to hear you are having a tough time at the moment. We are here to chat with you. Please know you are valued, and that thoughts are thoughts, but that doesn't mean they are factual. I also know that it is hard not to believe thoughts like this when they come about. Are there any positive strategies you find helpful when things like this get overwhelming for you?

Re: mental health

@livdog2009 you must be a lot younger than me, I went through a lot to start liking myself. I had to hit rock bottom and lose my health to stop being a people pleaser. It was devastating. I hope you can overcome this damaging conditioning and turn this around without going through what I went thru. I will be blunt: Whoever or what ever made you feel this way, de-condition or de-colonise your mind away from this shit.
