Lego anyone?

Lego anyone?

Lego has changed so much over the years and the possibilities are endless as to what you can create…. With the help of a box or bricks and some instructions… or maybe you’re just super creative!

I love building Lego, it’s therapeutic and relaxing. And there is always a wow at the end as I finally complete a set.

who else enjoys it? What have you built?

I hope this space inspires others to give it a go!

Re: Lego anyone?

haha i see Jett likes legos too 😂 @Captain24 that's good to know, i've been collecting the extra pieces just in case i lose/break pieces in the future. have you had a lego set that came with some missing pieces or incorrect pieces?

Re: Lego anyone?

I’ve done well over a hundred kits, maybe more and never have I had I missing piece or the wrong piece @rav3n

@Captain24 @rav3n

I’ve had one or 2 sets missing a piece.

because I keep all the extra pieces from each set I already had the piece or was able to put pieces together.

only once have I ordered a piece, that was my fault it couldn’t be found

trying not to rush putting the mauve bear together. 3 rounds together so far = half inch in height. Estimated height when finished 12 1/2 inches. Info on team says 4500 pieces. Definitely lots and lots of little square pieces in the package

oh wowww that's such a good streak of no missing/incorrect pieces! @Captain24

i'm 98% sure i got 1 incorrect piece for the set i worked on this weekend (the 2% chance could be that i lost the piece and didn't notice). instead of a flat tile, i got a brick one of the same colour and shape. luckily the placement of the incorrect piece makes in unnoticeable!

@Former-Member woahhh 4500 pieces!!! they're hard to put down once you get started, hey!

@rav3n Pictures are the 1st of 14 steps completed.
both feet measures approx 2 1/4 in front to back, 2 in wide, 1 in high. Instruction sheet says I’ve used 180 pieces so far. Pieces are only 2 shapes and are about 3/16 in high.

@Captain24 wow!! Sounds like you have might have a big collection 😀

Re: Lego anyone?

Yeah I have a few @Former-Member

I can’t see the photos @rav3n

Sounds like a good idea for hobbies.

Re: Lego anyone?

@rav3n What you referred to as jagged edges are how the pieces join together. When in the right spots, the edges lock together. (So I found out at just before midnight last night on YouTube). When not in the right spot the pieces just slide against each other. Been a interesting and frustrating learning experience

Re: Lego anyone?

are the images visible now? sometimes they take a bit longer to get approved @Captain24

@Former-Member ohh woahh!! knowing me, if i had to use that type of lego, i'd have to keep rebuilding it. i'm so prone to knocking my lego pieces over 😅
