Lego anyone?

Lego anyone?

Lego has changed so much over the years and the possibilities are endless as to what you can create…. With the help of a box or bricks and some instructions… or maybe you’re just super creative!

I love building Lego, it’s therapeutic and relaxing. And there is always a wow at the end as I finally complete a set.

who else enjoys it? What have you built?

I hope this space inspires others to give it a go!

Wow @Former-Member. The titanic is amazing!!!!

It’s easy to get addicted too @rav3n. But yes very expensive! The set I’m going to get for my brother for Christmas is over $300. At least his birthday present is only $100. There is sooo many Harry Potter ones.

I might have a look @Bow but I’ve got a lot of expensive bills coming up. About $3000 in a couple of weeks so money is very tight.

@Bow @rav3n @Captain24

Titanic. (Shelving unit is 120cm wide)

once I eventually finish resorting everything I might be able to free up shelf on top of this for more buildings. I’m very interested in Neuschwanstein Castle plus Notre Dame Cathedral

This is just some of my collection @Captain24 @Former-Member @rav3n

And my 3 Disney castles 😍

I still have a couple of crates full from when we moved that I have unpacked yet and a heap of flower Lego upstairs

@Former-Member my brother has the titanic and it’s huge. When I went down to visit him… hmm couple of years ago, one section was dropped when he moved. I attempted to rebuild it while I was there but didn’t get far cause all the pieces were just dumped in a container. I actually built one of the bigger Disney castles as a second hand build. It took me ages!!

@Bow One of my step sons is heavily addicted to Lego Star Wars. Few years ago he husband bought him the Star Wars Death Star.
He has all the figurines set out, items in and on display unit.

as a kid I had large amount of what is referred to as Lego Originals. Main thing I remember was the different shapes and sizes of the windows. Unfortunately due to various moves and other things I no longer have them

@Bow

Is that the London Telephone Box and mini double decker bus I see?

Ive got the larger double decker bus, seats can accomodate Lego characters. Need to add the stickers to part of it.

I was thinking about getting the Telephone Box

Re: Lego anyone?

I remember playing with Lego as a kid too @Former-Member my brother was heaps into and it was all very basic.

yes that’s the london phone box- I actually got that from aliexpress for like $70 I think so not real Lego, but honestly you can’t tell. I thought the Lego set of it was a bit expensive for what it was. The London double decker bus I got from London when we were there a few years back.

I also got the London skyline from the architecture series while over there and got the Paris skyline from a gift shop up the top of the Eiffel Tower!
