Lego anyone?

Lego anyone?

Lego has changed so much over the years and the possibilities are endless as to what you can create…. With the help of a box or bricks and some instructions… or maybe you’re just super creative!

I love building Lego, it’s therapeutic and relaxing. And there is always a wow at the end as I finally complete a set.

who else enjoys it? What have you built?

I hope this space inspires others to give it a go!

@Captain24 @Bow @tyme

I have found myself looking at one specific brick website for last few weeks, Tytanex.

Last night I placed order from them 2 different BrickBears, approx 7000 small pieces each, completed height about 18 inches.

their current sale means I will get 2 mystery boxes also, info from the business is contents will contain approx 300 pieces and each animal will be one of various options.

Im looking at 2 separate one day hospital stays plus a week long hospital stay, first one in couple months time. Ive seen some cute little cats and dogs on Temu, will get some closer to first hospital stays.

Hey @Former-Member ,

Glad you are planning to get some creativity happening during your hospital stays. Sounds very interesting even though I don't know what this Tytanex is. I look forward to seeing any photos.

Also, if you wanted to have a chat about your hospital stays at all, feel free to tag me in - only if you think it'd help. Please don't feel obliged if you don't want to. I just want to make space for it if needed.

Doing Google search for Tytanex should give you the link to the website. These will gradually be done at home.

Week in hospital I’ll take something small to do

these are what couple of their bears look like

The bears are awesome! I need to look into them. Looks hard. And they're not cheap! @Former-Member

How do you feel about your hospital stay? Do you have anything else planned to do during your stay?

Re: Lego anyone?

I’m feeling fine about week in hospital @tyme

cats will be as ok as possible in a cattery which is my main concern.

those bears (about 12 different designs) are at least 5,000 pieces each with height of approx 17 inches when finished. To me, worth the cost.

I won’t be taking one into hospital to do, far too big. I’ve seen various different design mini brick sets on Temu (figures stand only few inches in height)….. might buy some to take. Walkman, portable dvd player, colouring book ….. definitely be taking these things.

Re: Lego anyone?

Wow! I didnt realise how big they are @Former-Member .

I reckon it'd be something I'd be interested in doing if I had the time to. I don't really prioritise all my projects. I still have a theme park lego to do, diamond art, paintings, making things using my cricut machine... so yeah, I've got heaps to do.

I hope the cats will be okay. Have you ever had pet sitters?

In response to: Re: Lego anyone?

Re: Lego anyone?

I’ve never used pet sitter @tyme

I’m not comfortable with idea of having someone in my home that I don’t know …. Just me I guess.

Your list of projects sounds familiar. I’m hoping the treatments work so I can continue working on my projects.

ive sent email to sane inbox attention to you with information about treatments etc that can’t be mentioned on the forums. Happy for all PSWs to read the email, if they choose

@Bow @tyme @Captain24

I bought couple of Nanobricks animal packs yesterday plus set of tweezers by Nanobricks. Waiting on mini cats and dogs from Temu. Putting them all into tote bag so I dont touch them before my week in hospital, whenever that will be.

they will be couple inches in height which is fine, haven’t got room for larger things. Currently have 2 Lego boats sitting on table in my garage amongst lots of other things I need to sort through and deal with

without tweezers I wouldn’t be able to do them either @Bow 🤭

Re: Lego anyone?

Definitely putting them away is a good idea @Former-Member. Plus you don’t have to remember to pack them when it’s time to go.

I’ve never done nanobricks but I don’t need anything else to get into. I’ve got about 30 kits here, some really small kits with not many prices and some really large ones with over 4000 pieces. Plus I was just stupid enough to order another one, well 2 actually but one is for my brothers birthday. I know he will love it and I’d rather give him that than more money.
