Jay5’s Thoughts from the garage

Jay5’s Thoughts from the garage

or the garden, or wherever.

Just wanted to make this thread so I can write whatever I want and talk to people without taking over everyone else’s threads or like derailing conversations for everyone else.
just gonna post what I would normally post elsewhere but all in the one place I guess

whoever wants to respond can and is welcome (I hate just talking to myself)

@tyme I’m not saying what they did was ok but I am maybe extra sensitive today because it is my dads birthday

which should not affect me all this time on but it still does for some reason

I couldn't agree more with you statement "but also standing there and copping it and not responding probably also sends a message." @ArraDreaming

You need to recognise the effort you made in standing there and NOT responding. Well done.

As for your dad, whatever it was, he is still your dad. He may not have been a father figure, but you know he was your dad. It's okay to recognise that you still have feelings on his birthday. Yet you also know that he taught you what a 'father' should and shouldn't do. That's what makes you an amazing father for your children.

Re: Jay5’s Thoughts from the garage

I think the othe thing is that when I’m in big social situations I am painfully aware and I mean PAINFULLY aware of trying to make conversation not standing awkwardly on my own, trying to keep conversations going all of that stuff so when someone calls me out for something when I spent all of that time thinking about it and trying to act normal it actually really friggen hurts and reminds me that I’m not acting normal and everyone else can see that

I need to stop thinking about this so much

Re: Jay5’s Thoughts from the garage

I’m more socially aware than anyone else in the room because it dominates my thought processes when I’m in a room of people I want to get it perfect
