I’ve had his offer of settlement from his lawyers in my email inbox since August 2023.
I did forewarn them I would be looking at it until the end of September.

Waited until I had an appointment with Legal Aid to look at it. I was scared of being triggered, that didn’t happen.

Even when I read the words “Westpac Back account held jointly with new partner ___”

All I thought was, he got exactly what he wanted very quickly. First thing he wanted me to do was have a joint bank account. I said No, he stole all my Savings anyway.

I thought I’d be upset reading his next victim’s name. But no.

I think I’m just anxious representing myself against his lawyer.

I think it is the years of psychological and emotional abuse, that worn me down and now I have to haggle the best deal I can get.

Literally my future depends on it.
