So I've decided to create a new space, similar to The Ice-Memery but instead of being silly memes, these are memes/images/words etc. that I've found that are more like tools and insights for recovery. Hence, I welcome you to:

These are things I've found that are insightful, provide psychoeducation, or that have helped inspire me in my recovery journey. I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! But to start us off, I would love to share a nice lil stack of memes/pics I've found that I thought were really worth the read.

@Mustang67 while fireworks are illegal without a permit people still manage to get their hands on them and set them off at ridiculous hours.

I have a Labrador, his name is Casper 😊.

Awww Russell is gorgeous 😍. I'm sorry for your loss, I've lost 4 of my babies within a 5 year period and it took a piece of me each time. Sending you hugs sweet ❤️

@MissGremlin how can they get their hands on fireworks without a permanent? People that let them off like that, have no consideration for anyone else or any pets that it will upset. They just want to stupid and have their fun.

Every time you lose a pet, a piece of your heart goes with them. I lost all 3 of my dogs within a short period of time.

The worse one was the cat as we had to get her put down, as she had cancer on the side of her mouth and she was struggling to eat, and lost so much weight. I was in there with her when they did it and i bawled my eyes out. And even now I am tearing up just thinking about it, and that was over 6 years ago.

I am so sorry for your loss ❤️. That is a lot of loss to go through. Your heart must have been continually breaking. That is so sad 😭

The name Casper caught my eye as I was reading, as that is the name my partner has given his private parts. Lol

Labradors are such beautiful dogs. What colour is he? I love bigger dogs, as they are easier to give a proper hug too.

How is your day going today? Are you feeling a bit better than the other day?

@AuntGlow thank you for sharing the links to Rebekah Ballagh's sites ❤️ I have already had a quick look and saved the coping statements and the It’s Not You and It’s Not True: Taming your inner critic article. I am going to print out the coping statements and putting them on my fridge, so it is easily accessible. And I have followed her on Facebook and Instagram. I need this sort of stuff popping up in my face.
