So I've decided to create a new space, similar to The Ice-Memery but instead of being silly memes, these are memes/images/words etc. that I've found that are more like tools and insights for recovery. Hence, I welcome you to:

These are things I've found that are insightful, provide psychoeducation, or that have helped inspire me in my recovery journey. I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! But to start us off, I would love to share a nice lil stack of memes/pics I've found that I thought were really worth the read.

@Mustang67 I'm glad that you've got a supportive surgeon! Honestly I think with my own health journey, it's the not knowing that creates the most distress for me. I hope it goes smoothly!

Never watched that, but it sounds nice and creepy!! Any critters that were super memorable? I wanna find clips on youtube, lol

@Jynx I just asked google about the episode and this was its response. The "paranormal caught on camera" episode featuring a creature appearing on a road like magic is from the Season 9 premiere of the show, titled "Creature Appears on Arizona Road". The clip shows a driver on Route 66 who is startled by a creature that suddenly materializes in the middle of the road. I have been trying to find a video of it for you without any luck.

There was also another episode where a small child was playing on the floor in a kitchen, and you quickly see this fairy like thing run from under a table. If I find anything I will send them to you.

@PeppyPatti I want to thank you with all my heart for asking me this question the other day.

Do you think you’re stronger and wiser than 6 years before?

I was so upset, thinking that not much had changed over the 6 years and feeling like a failure, but by you asking me this question, i had to stop and think about it. And when I did, I realised that I had overcome some, what i thought was big obstacles, and I had learned so much.

This could have put me back in a downward spiral of depression, but because you asked this question, I realised that my thinking was wrong, and i had actually achieved a lot. This therefore improved my mood, and it no longer concerned me.

Hello @Cuddlebear my sweet. I'm sorry that yesterday was tough for you, hope you are feeling better today. I wasn't on the forums yesterday until late in the day and even then I had to step back.

Things are still tough and I've had no luck with getting through to the number for the salvation army to see if they can help with the cost.

@MissGremlin I’m sorry things are still tough for you and that you can’t get through to the number to get help to access the dental care. It’s very unfair that Salvation Army don’t have enough lines do people can actually get through. It is just awful having to live with toothache that needs dental care on top of mental illness. I think you mentioned you were seeing GP Monday and I’m hoping some antibiotics will help get the infection out and you can get through to that number for dental help.

Im still really not coping and feel awful. I’m so tired of feeling this way. I just wish it wasn’t so bad.

Are you doing anything in the weekend? How is Caspar?

@Cuddlebear yes i do have an appointment on Monday and I'm hoping my doctor can help or maybe have some other suggestions.

I'm so sorry you are not coping and feeling awful, I wish things would settle for you as you don't deserve to be suffering like this. I'm here for you sweet and I'm sending you hugs ❤️.

I have to do shopping today but other than that I don't have any plans for the weekend. Casper is doing well.
