So I've decided to create a new space, similar to The Ice-Memery but instead of being silly memes, these are memes/images/words etc. that I've found that are more like tools and insights for recovery. Hence, I welcome you to:

These are things I've found that are insightful, provide psychoeducation, or that have helped inspire me in my recovery journey. I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! But to start us off, I would love to share a nice lil stack of memes/pics I've found that I thought were really worth the read.

Instead of asking “What’s wrong with me?”, try asking:

“What happened that made me need this mask?”

That single question can transform judgment into compassion.

@Former-Member Wow I loved reading these, thank you. I could relate to almost all of them. It's so helpful for me to be self-aware and work on the things that are inhibiting my mental health.

@heartathome As an autistic person I can relate to this feeling a lot. I'm trying to work on using my uniqueness to my advantage and not being afraid of being different.

Good on you @puppydoglover ! I'm happy to meet you!

My partner is on the spectrum, and we've been together for over 22 years! He is the most gentle and caring man that I have ever met! He's also the most annoying! 😂

He's excentric, mostly deaf and a hoarder. We have a lot of love and mutual respect! He's not had it easy 'living' (not literally) with me but has an abundant of forgiveness regarding my mental health issues, especially going through depressive episodes and my CPTSD! Walk tall and proud puppydoglover! 💛

@DownMoreThanUp Thanks for the sayings! I like the rejection sensitive dysphoria as I learnt from that one. I would put myself in that category but had no idea it had a name. Interesting! 💛

Hi @DownMoreThanUp @heartathome i have rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD) as well. I have ASD (autism) and possibly ADHD so it’s common with those that have them.
