I am feeling very low today. My ex friend has enlisted her ex husbands' questionable girlfriend (we'll call her S) to sign me up to some adult dating sites and I am getting emails from women from other countries. I can't deactivate the account because S set it up and I don't know the password. On the "about me" section she wrote (about me) "I am a phat f*ck who can't move on from losing my ex best friend and have nothing going on in my life" and registered my name as Psychotic Stalker. I know I shouldn't be upset but I am. I know I am overweight but I don't need this woman posting stuff like that on a dating site. Especially since I have been a victim of stalking. While I have no issue with same sex relationships I am hetero so getting suggestive emails from women doesn't turn me on. I have prayed about what I should do but haven't got an answer. I am so hurt that she would do this to me, considering I gave 8 years of my life - financially and emotionally- to ex friend. My brother tried to cheer me up by saying I should be flattered as I am living rent free in their minds but it's just so hurtful.

Anyway, I hope everyone else is having a nice night. Tymey, I am finally going to Funnings tomorrow, I squirreled away some of my money to get your namesake so watch this space 🫂

Had someone many years ago do something horrible online, logging on as me to my own Facebook account and posting that I wanted people to stop commenting on my weight gain because its embarrassing

Can I just gently point out that this kind of thing is, in legal terms, known as defamation? Slander is actually a horrible, toxic kind of behaviour. So when you say this:

I just think... hun, you have EVERY RIGHT to be upset!! This is your social standing coming under attack - something inherently linked to our survival instincts. Our reputations do actually matter!! I'm not joking when I say you could have a right to legal recourse over something like this. Legal Aid's page on defamation - just in case 💜

That woman — S, short for Septic excuse for a human — has clearly mistaken petty spite for power.

She’s clinging to the idea of you because she can’t cope with your absence. You’re not rent-free in her head — you’re the entire penthouse, and she’s stuck living in emotional public housing with no heating, no logic, and no class.

The account, the insults, the stalking — none of it reflects you. It reflects her inability to grow, her festering insecurity, and her fear that she’ll never measure up to the person she tried to destroy.

I have spoken to a friend of mine who is in the police force and she said much the same thing. I have emailed S and requested that she deactivate the profile or that I willconsider legal action. I don't want to go the legal route but if I have to I will.

I'm just feeling particularly vulnerable at the moment, my dad is ignoring me and my MH isn't great right now so it was something I didn't need.

I am just so thankful that I have you and my Sane family to talk to. 🫂 ❤️

@Glisten you are an amazing amazing woman. This is why 99% of the time I don't miss former friend and her toxic friendship. Septic, ha ha you have no idea how close to the truth you are! She is questionable in her morals, parenting and life choices. And it is proof that ex friend really doesn't have any friends if she is banding up with the woman her ex husband shacked up with not because he loves her, but because he had nowhere else to live. As my bro said, ex friend used to make blistering comments about Septic.

As I mentioned to Jynxy, I emailed Septic and asked her to deactivate the profile she created with my email address or face legal action and I think she may have actually done it. I have not received any more emails from the site. If I knew how to deactivate the email address I would but I'm not sure I can. Anyway, you and @Jynx have made my night with your replies. This is why I am happy to share a brain with you.

I even found a GF muffin recipe so that I can make my apple cinnamon muffins for you 😍
