So I've decided to create a new space, similar to The Ice-Memery but instead of being silly memes, these are memes/images/words etc. that I've found that are more like tools and insights for recovery. Hence, I welcome you to:

These are things I've found that are insightful, provide psychoeducation, or that have helped inspire me in my recovery journey. I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! But to start us off, I would love to share a nice lil stack of memes/pics I've found that I thought were really worth the read.

@MissGremlin Hello how are you and Caspar going today?

I’ve been out to housing service and mental health local to do an intake. Housing service was pretty depressing and mental health local did all my details but 1 month wait for intake. They don’t have enough psychologists or counselling staff so given me a list of places that might help but they don’t have enough have some other services they can offer.

Surgeon yesterday said my bypass is holding up in left leg at the moment. My right leg has blockages but blood is flowing and won’t need surgery right now. He was happy with the amputation but referred me to surgeon of podiatry to clean it (painful cries).

Housing looking dismal and could be homeless in august. Mental health is in a mess.

Im so glad I have the forums here. Are you keeping warm it’s chilly and really getting into some winter weather.

I am often ISTP… but nothing is cast in stone. I am working on claiming my intuition… very late in life. Lol

I do find MyerBriggs type to be helpful…

Hello @Cuddlebear, I thought Casper was doing a bit better but unfortunately we have gone backwards again. Me, I'm exhausted and mentally drained but pushing through.

I'm sorry to hear that the housing service was depressing and that there's a wait with the mental health intake. It's seems to be so hard to get help even when you really need it.

I'm glad things went ok with yesterday's appointment, we can take those small wins at the moment. I hope the surgeon of podiatry isn't too painful, I can't even begin to imagine how hard that must be to deal with.

Really hoping something positive happens between now and August and you aren't left homeless. Can understand the mental health would be a mess given everything that's going on. But you are not alone and we are here for you every step of the way. Sending you hugs ♥️

I've been in my bed most of today as I just don't have any motivation and I'm still recovering from this cold. Hope you are staying warm and having cuddles with your dog 😊
