I had a migraine triggered yesterday from barely sleeping and still recovering from it. I slept better last night, mind still feels very foggy. This morning I felt discomfort in my body, my mind went to when I used to feel it years ago. Then I noticed myself feeling distant, sort of floaty. I hope I can get through the day today with uni
@fluffylight, I had a pdoc appointment which helped a bit. A part of me feels a bit embarrassed though

Sounds like there are some feelings that you're navigating through 💛@creative_writer
The helpful part of this appointment and a part that is feeling embarrassing?

Re: Nothing feels real
@fluffylight, I guess it helped to feel heard. I felt embarrassed when he asked about the flashbacks, I guess talking about SA is hard

Re: Nothing feels real
@fluffylight, it is feeling better right now, I just hope things normalise. I am thinking of going into uni tom. I know I have nothing to feel ashamed of, but it’s hard. I know he was trying to help, it did feel like a burden was lifted, but it’s just hard talking about how my body felt 💖

Re: Nothing feels real
I can hear that @creative_writer I can imagine how hard it is to talk about. It also sounds like talking about it has lifted a burden but the present feeling of it being hard is there for you. I am noticing those feelings and giving you lots of hugs. You're right there is nothing to feel ashamed about.
I hope you have better days ahead, you deserve to feel better and so does your body.
Going to uni sounds like a good plan 🙂
Hugs 💖

Re: Nothing feels real
@fluffylight💖.
It’s hard, but I’ve been working on rebuilding my life. I don’t want to just be my pain. I want more from my life. Processing is hard, but the only way through is to walk on uneven fire lit roads. It’ll hurt, it’ll burn, but I have to try to come out stronger. I think the really direct question may have put me a bit off balance. I know he was trying to help

Re: Nothing feels real
I can hear how much you are holding 💖 and I recognise the need for more in life.
I wonder if there is a way to communicate that with him, you deserve to feel safe in your appointments.
I will be going off for the night! Sending so many hugs your way.
Good luck with uni tmr!

Re: Nothing feels real
@fluffylight, I could raise it up if it comes up again. It’s different if I’ve been working with someone for a long time vs only started seeing them this year. Maybe it feel too early for direct questions.
Thank you for keeping me company tonight. Take care 💖🫂
