I'm just not getting the help I need. And it's destroying me.
I have a mental illness. They call it anxiety, depression, and ptsd. But is it any wonder I am "sick" when the world around me is sick? I've merely picked up some bizarre communicable disease and never even received my valentines card to say thanks!
I'm a dysfunctional mess and feel left to rot in a back alley...
How can I find a support worker to help me?

Aww @Kyle1 I know the feeling the acute care team didn't help me either. Neither have St Vincents over here. Though I did eventually get something last year with them once I perceived. Maybe you could call them again or get your GP to make a referral.
SH yeah that's a hard one. Can you hold some ice?
I’m just cooking dinner had a bit of a cry when I got home not feeling good, but don't worry about me.

Hey @Kyle1 sorry to hear you're so bombarded with the big stressy stuff at the moment. It sucks to feel so overwhelmed. I wish I had a solution for you, I totally feel you on needing someone like a support worker to help wade through the drudgery and get on top of things. My ADHD doesn't qualify me for NDIS support, despite the fact that it frequently creates immense difficulty for me - got me running around like a headless chook to just tick off the basics. I can only imagine how hard it would be to also be trudging through the swamps of legal processes on top of it all. Sending some hugs your way 💜

I'm sorry. It's sad that we all have to go through that with them. They are there to help, but then they don't even do anything.

Hopefully if you link in with a few agencies like Mabel, you will find support @Kyle1 . Support workers are so difficult to find at the moment. I see first-hand that when people are left without support, some people are not able to get out of bed. It's so hard.
