Re: BPD awareness

Thanks @MissLil ! This is very close to my heart too!

Much appreciated. And there will be a special guest from Spectrum (personality disorder specialist service Vic) if anyone wants to ask any questions.

Re: BPD awareness

I have been diagnosed with BPD in the past but my Dr currently is pretty sure I dont have it. I resonate a lot with the personality disorder dx overall and am very interested in the topic !

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope @MissLil @tyme

Re: BPD awareness

Let's just say, a diagnosis isn't the be all, end all. Ultimately, it's about you getting the support you need so that you can live a full and fulfilled life @EternalFlower

I spoke to my psychologist about the BPD traits once, and he said, if we get down to the nitty gritty, we ALL have elements of ALL the BPD traits. Given the correct circumstances, these traits become more prominent and life-altering. And also, if you only need 5 of the 9 traits, consider how many combinations of the traits you can have! That means, my BPD could look very different to your BPD.

But yes, we hope you can make it to the topic tuesday next week 🙂
